Distt.
Mewat at Nuh is situated in South of Haryana. Its boundaries attach with the
Rajasthan borders Distt. Like Alwar and Haryana’s Districts Gurgaon and
Faridabad (Rural) at Palwal.

Its
land area is
186211 hectars and its population according to the census of 2001
about 936579 which has to be increased up to 12.9% to estimate the present
population .

In
this District three Divisions, Seven Police Stations including one Traffic
Police Station, Badkali and six Police Posts are functioning.

Due
to desert area the water level of this district is too much deep and people
face lot of water and electricity problem.
Peoples main occupation is agriculture.

Due
to shortage of water and electricity industries could not be set up in this
District and there is merely any source of income.
People are poor. Due to above police has set up Nakas, PCRs, Riders,
to control over the crime and night patrolling on the State Highways and
city areas.

To
control over the Traffic One Police Station has been set up at Badkali Chowk
on State Highway.
